Arsenal kid Vela happy with Celta Vigo deal
Vela's registration is owned by Arsenal and the Mexican teenager player will stay with Celta as part of the two clubs' collaboration agreement.
Vela, 16, has joined Celta Soccer Club through to 2010, but could move to Arsenal earlier should he make an impact in Spain. He's unlikely to play for Celta this season due to his non-EU status.
"I always wanted this opportunity and I am going to show that I can take advantage of it," said Vela. "I want hard work and in six months to be able to play.
"This is a different football and I hope to learn everything I can for when I am part of the first team."
He added: "Ronaldo is my idol. A fantastic player. Hugo Sanchez? It will be very difficult to match his achievements."
